Vera Checked is a one-person publishing project operated by Carlos G. This policy covers the Vera Checked YouTube channel, its landing pages, and its email list.
What we collect
If you join the email list we store the email address you give us, the date you subscribed, and whether you open our emails. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or payment details. If you email us, we keep that email so we can reply.
What we do not collect
We do not buy, rent or scrape personal data, and we do not run advertising pixels or third-party trackers on this site.
How we use it
To send the email updates you asked for, and to answer you if you write in. Nothing else. We never sell or share your address for anyone's marketing.
Service providers
Email delivery and the sign-up page are hosted by Kit (ConvertKit), which stores subscriber addresses on our behalf. Video is hosted by YouTube, Instagram and TikTok under their own policies.
Google API data
Vera Checked uses Google APIs with the account owner's authorisation only, to read this channel's own statistics and comments and to publish the owner's own videos. It does not access any other user's Google data, and no Google user data is shared with third parties.
Deleting your data
Reply to any email or write to robotjonesai@gmail.com and your address is deleted. Unsubscribing removes you from all future sends.
Children
This list is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
